LumaSense Technologies has announced the release of its thermal comfort manager software - Innova 7701 for the Innova 1221 thermal comfort data logger.

LumaSense's thermal comfort data logger enables the measurement and evaluation of all physical parameters necessary to evaluate thermal comfort or local thermal discomfort.

The new Microsoft.Net-based software provides robust and agile features for handling measurements and performing calculations.

The software optimises and shortens time consuming processes and provides the ability to after-process present and historical data.

Focusing on shortening the time-to-results and ease-of-use, the software provides an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) and RS232 or USB communication for data exchange and analysis in an OCDC or spreadsheet format.

The software also allows the Innova 1221 thermal comfort data logger to function as a stand-alone measurement and data collection unit in the field.

The Innova 1221 enables the measurement and evaluation of all physical parameters necessary to evaluate thermal comfort or local thermal discomfort according to ISO7730 and ISO7726 standards.

It also provides the ability to evaluate work place heat stress in accordance with ISO77243 and ISO7933.

Using the manager software, the unit can be set up to collect data without any additional software or hardware, or can be used in conjunction with a PC and data viewed online.

The Innova 7701 allows data retrieval from the data logger via RS232 or USB interface on the host computer.

All data are stored in the SQL Server 2005 database.

This new software package replaces the old software Innova 7301.

The new software is based on a SQL Server 2005 database structure; it is fully upgraded to the newest Microsoft.Net technology and compatible with Microsoft Windows XP.

A professional installation guide ensures a seamless and effortless installation including application and SQL Server 2005 database.
