The LPC GlueDetect is designed to detect the presence of water based glues as applied on continuous production lines and on single product or cartoning lines.

Lucas Power and Control Ltd announce the launch of the latest in their line of innovative solutions for production control - the LPC GlueDetect.

Utilising the latest in technological developments the LPC GlueDetect is designed to detect the presence of water based glues as applied on continuous production lines and on single product or cartoning lines.

The system will detect failure in glue application and alert the operator visualy or audibly.

In applications from box packaging lines to paper bag manufacture the LPC GlueDetect offers users the benefits of reductions in product non-conformance and wastage, and provides increased customer confidence in product quality and reliability.

The LPC GlueDetect can readily be adapted to detect hot glue application using infra-red detection sensors or ultraviolet sensors for fluorescing glues.
