Test and measurement equipment managers can now access one of the world's largest rental inventories online through Livingston's new website and web-based catalogue.

Test and measurement equipment managers can now access one of the world's largest rental inventories online through Livingston's new website and web-based catalogue.

The future for Livingston is online and marks the end of an era for Livingston's hard copy catalogue - the indispensable test equipment manager's tool - that the company had been producing for over 30 years.

The online catalogue was developed as a direct response to customer demand and opens the way for greater accuracy, speed and flexibility in obtaining equipment information.

It provides a detailed, up-to-the minute inventory of products that can be rented or bought from Livingston.

Available in six languages, the new website design offers new features and functionality in a user-friendly manner.

The website covers Livingston's service offerings, history, news and more, while the inventory catalogue can be navigated through a sophisticated search tool that enables users to locate test equipment quickly and easily.

"The new catalogue highlights all of our newest products, as well as existing ones", explains Fiona Horrocks, Director and General Manager of Livingston UK.

"As soon as new products are introduced, they will be posted online along with their photos and manufacturer product and data sheets where available".

"Our aim is to develop the catalogue into a full e-commerce solution", said Jeremy Jarrett, Product Marketing Specialist with Livingston who designed and produced the online catalogue.

"We expect to have that in place early next year".

Livingston's calibration customers will also be able to use the new website to access the password-controlled calibration management system which manages the logistics and administration associated with calibration management.

The system notifies customers when equipment is due for calibration, schedules equipment collections and call-ins, allows real-time access to work-in-progress reports, calibration results and certificates.

That catalogue will also include full inventory for Livingston's Computer Products Division, including workstations, servers, PDAs and more.
