Rexroth Mecman has developed its vacuum handling range to enable manufacturers to fully realise the benefits of this technology in their automated assembly systems Vacuum handling is a growing technique that offers an ideal alternative for automated picking and placing applications

It provides a highly precise and efficient means of moving a huge range of objects - from an entire car body to an electronic component.

Simple and easy to work, vacuum handling has a low application cost compared to other techniques.

Objects need only approximate pre-positioning, while the gentle handling process eliminates mechanical shock.

Rexroth Mecman's vacuum handling range now includes a wide choice of standard ejectors, valves, suction cups and accessories to suit all applications A unique valve manifold that combines standard pressure valves and vacuum generators on one unit, using the same compressed air supply, is also available.

These units are space saving, lightweight and need only one control box.

More detailed information is featured in 'The Engineer's Guide to Vacuum Technology', a new publication available from Rexroth Mecman.
