New compact high performance pneumatic valve
Rexroth Mecman has launched a new compact valve that meets industry's growing need for smaller valves offering higher performance.
As well as in a standard version, the TWC is also available in two versions with an end position lock.
With this option, the piston rods can be locked either in an extended or retracted state.
In case of a pressure drop in the system, the cylinder will remain in that particular end position.
The double pistons within the TWC can move high forces.
In addition, the cylinder is particularly stable and has a large load capacity.
Long slide bearing guide bushings from hard anodised aluminium ensure that there is minimal play on the piston rods.
Thus, the TWC can handle comparatively high transverse forces and useful loads.
For applications where the pneumatic drive must remain in a certain end position even in case of a pressure drop in the system, the TWC presents the optimal solution.
Rexroth is the only manufacturer to offer the option of locking the piston rod in an extended position.
The TWC is ideal for positioning and transporting tools and components as well as sorting and separating work pieces.
The double piston cylinder is available in six sizes with a piston diameter of 6 to 32mm and standard stroke lengths from 10 to 100mm.
With a total of five sensor grooves, drive sensing can be carried out very flexibly.
With the TWC, Rexroth offers a drive module with small installation dimensions and good guide features at an attractive price.
The TWC is the solution for simple positioning and handling tasks, particularly for applications that require nonrotating modules with a low height and compact design.
