The new refined Autotech exhibition will be held in the traditional heartland of the British motor industry at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre between 21st-23rd November

Mack-Brooks Exhibitions Ltd is applying its 35 years' experience of organising successful trade shows to breathe new life into AutoTECH - Britain's premier international exhibition for automotive technology The refined, re-modelled and re-engineered show builds on the foundation of earlier AutoTECH exhibitions and will be held in the traditional heartland of the British motor industry at Birmingham's National Exhibition Centre between 21st-23rd November

The event incorporates a number of new features designed to attract a greater spread of exhibiting companies and more top quality visitors than ever before.

The show's focus has also been widened to reflect the needs of everyone involved in automotive and motor sport technology - from multi-national OEMs and tier 1-3 component manufacturers, to research bodies, testing organisations, consultants and educational institutions.

In addition, AutoTECH 2000 will be supported by a series of technology workshops and educational seminars that will enable visitors to learn about the latest developments across the complete spectrum of automotive design, development and management.

Mack-Brooks will also be rolling out a programme of marketing and promotional initiatives over the coming months, which is specifically targeted to increase attendance at this year's show by more than 25 per cent.

In parallel, the company has introduced a range of exhibitor support initiatives and launched an 'early bird' promotion that offers an extra 10 per cent stand booking discount to all companies confirming their participation before the 1st May.

These measures have already generated high levels of interest from leading international organisations - putting Mack-Brooks well on track to increase both the stand space area and numbers of exhibitors at the year 2000 event.

"The automotive sector is traditionally at the cutting edge of new technology," says exhibition director, Nadine Graville.

"Indeed, it is fundamental to the industry's continuing success.

Our research shows that more than 7 out of 10 visitors to the last AutoTECH were directly involved in new product design and development.

This vital part of our target audience represents the people at the heart of any organisation's ability to safeguard its future.

"We believe that the plans we've got in place will make AutoTECH the only choice for Britain's motor industry as it strives to reinforce its position in the increasingly competitive global marketplace.".
