Linear Systems Now With Integral Measuring System
All of Star ball and roller rail systems are now available with an integral inductive linear measuring system that allows enhanced machine designs and improved accuracy.
New, inexpensive brackets serve to connect the profiles to one another as well as to the linear motion systems.
The brackets come in different sizes to ensure that the resulting structures will always be highly rigid and stable, and the milled mating surfaces of the brackets guarantee high accuracy.
New profile dimensions of 100 x 200 and 80 x 160 mm for heavy duty applications and 25 x 50 and 25 x 25 mm for small structures round the system off at the top and bottom end of the range.
In addition, the 40 x 40mm profile is now provided in a version with closed slots.
The new corner connection brackets deliver practical benefits as well as improving the visual appearance of structures.
They make it possible to form corner joints by connecting profiles and sections by their ends without drilling through the profile side faces.
The modular design, high functionality and easy handling of the Alu-Star Profile System offers users almost unlimited structural design possibilities.
