Versatile switches monitor varied
substances

Thermatel TD2 switches have a spherical tip sensor and have passed the in-place cleanability testing according to the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group procedures.

Thermatel TD2 switches from Magnetrol International offer level, flow and interface capability in a single device The unit can detect levels in highly viscous liquids, detect variable or flow/no flow conditions of liquids or gases, or detect one liquid layer over another

The switch has a spherical tip sensor and has passed the in-place cleanability testing according to the European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group procedures.

The spherical sensor does not contain any shadow areas that cannot be cleaned with standard spray balls.

The TD2 is available with an IP67, deep drawn 304 stainless steel enclosure.

Other TD2 compatible sensor options include mini twin tip sensors that can be mounted in T pieces as small as 25mm)or low flow bodies for in-line mounting in lines as small as 13mm.

The low-flow body sensor is capable of detecting flows as low as 0.02 litres an hour in a 1/4in pipe line.

The Thermatel TD2 uses enhanced thermal dispersion technology with automatic temperature compensation.

Automatic temperature compensation reduces the set point drift at varying process temperatures and provides a highly repeatable switch.

The TD2 provides continuous diagnostics, an mA and relay output and local LED indication of flow.

It is able to withstand +200C process temperatures and pressures up to 41bar. Request a free brochure from Magnetrol International ...
