Mini Encoders down to 12mm in diameter
A new range of encoders from Swiss manufacturer Micronor of Zurich includes Mini Encoders down to 12mm in diameter including a sine wave output, and many more
A frequent cause of encoder failure, or premature replacement has therefore been eliminated.
Of special interest to the oil and gas process industries will be the range of incremental and absolute encoders, built to EEx IIC T6 approval classification, for Zone 1 and 2 operation.
Shaft and hollow shaft models are available, with pulse counts of 10 to 5,000 p.p.r., or a resolution of 10,12, or 13 bit, with RS422, SSI/RS485 or push-pull outputs available.
They are of rugged construction, for heavy-duty industrial usage, the encoders are of compact design, but only 70 mm in diameter.
This makes them one of the smallest encoders of their type on the market, a considerable advantage to design engineers working with smaller and smaller areas into which to install equipment.
