Pressure transmitter key to Robot Wars

The robot called Anthrax in BBC TV's Robot Wars programme uses a Huba Control 691 transmitter to monitor the pressure to let the operator know when the relief valve has operated.
Four Electronics Engineers have built a robot called Anthrax to compete in the new series of BBC TV's Robot Wars programme, featuring a hydraulic weapon operating at 3,000 psi Majestic has supplied a 691 transmitter to monitor the pressure to let the operator know when the relief valve has operated
You can obtain more information about Anthrax at www.anthrax.org.uk The benefits of the Huba Control 691 series of transmitters are that they are of modular construction, and can be supplied in any range from -1 to 600 bar.
The one fitted to Anthrax is programmed to give a 0 -10V signal, with the 10V signal at 206.7 bar [3,000 psi].
Other options include 4 types of signal output and various mechanical and electrical connections to suit any application.
They are also of compact size averaging 40 mm in diameter and 65 mm in length.
