Marcrist International has added new pages to its website that enables customers to find out the best diamond blade or abrasive wheel for cutting a given material

Marcrist International, manufacturer of diamond blades, cores and abrasive wheels, has added new pages to its website that enables customers to find out the best diamond blade or abrasive wheel for cutting a given material with just one click of the mouse The new pages can be found at www.marcrist.com within the diamond blades and abrasive wheels sections

Choosing the correct blade or wheel is vital for safety and economy.

The wrong blade will not be as efficient, may wear quicker and perform slower.

"With thousands of products in the Marcrist portfolio, and nearly 50 materials they can be used with, we do not expect our customers to know the best product for the job in hand!" said Diamond division product manager Ian Bannister.

"However, because people always know the material they are working on, we knew we could organise a database on the website that was geared around this information." With the new web pages, all the customer needs to do is select the material they wish to cut from the on-screen menu in either the diamond blade or abrasive wheel sections, either of which lists nearly 50 of the most commonly used materials.

The search criteria will then list the best products for the task, with hyperlinks to the page of the website where each item is fully detailed.

"The Internet is the ideal tool for this service as it can search through masses of information very quickly," added Ian.

"This is the way forward for products like ours - people should soon say goodbye to scanning long product lists to find the product that fits the task.".
