Marcrist is launching additions to its bonded abrasives ranges, including products for stainless cutting and grinding, and ultra thin cut-off wheels Both new lines are manufactured to EN 12413, the latest and most stringent European safety standard, are branded Powermarc, and accompanied by the Powermarc performance guarantee, "If you do not agree that this disc offers the best price-performance ratio, we will replace it free of charge"

The stainless discs are guaranteed free from iron and sulphur, for the high standards required, for cutting and grinding stainless steel, in the nuclear, food, and petrochemical industries.

Marcrist ultra thin cut-off wheels offer far higher speed cutting than traditional 3mm wheels, in tests they have proven to cut up to 3 times faster.

Additionally they allow greater accuracy in positioning to the line of cut, they provide a cleaner cut which requires less finishing, require less physical effort on the part of the operator, and ensure vastly reduced dust and vibration levels.

Due to the narrower channel width, material wastage can also be reduced by as much as 65%.

The ultra thin wheels are available in diameters of 115, 125, 180, and 230mm, and are as with the stainless range, guaranteed free from iron and sulphur.
