Early successful contracts for Indramat Automation and Handling have included the design and supply of a programmable slide for Jaguar X350 body panel assembly at Comau Limited.
Another is a multiple retrofit project at Rover, supplying automated gantries with multi-axis grippers, for loading crankshafts into Churchill turning machines.
A project currently under way is a very high precision rotating table positioning a laser-marking machine, for a prestigious client.
Many Indramat Automation and Handling applications use the Cartesian robot / Gantry robot.
This type of robot has an arm with prismatic joints and axes, which are coincident with a Cartesian co-ordinator.
Indramat Automation and Handling are involved in diversified range of activities, from tube bending to egg handling, from box making to car assembly, or from turbo charger manufacture to food packaging.
The new division starts with the advantage that it has the extensive product range and powerful experience of the three Rexroth divisions that stand behind it.
Customers will be offered effective solutions to complex automation problems by the simple expedient of making one simple contact at Indramat Automation and Handling.
