The Indramat MBT series of torque motors are synchronous frameless motors and consist of a stator with three-phase winding and a rotor with permanent magnets.
Due to the direct drive technology and the type of construction, mechanical elements such as gears are eliminated and at the same time the motors offer accuracy and a very high dynamic response.
The Indramat MBT torque motors are designed for link circuit voltages of up to 750 V and have liquid cooling, including thermal encapsulation.
Optional versions without cooling can also be supplied.
Built-in temperature sensors protect the motor winding against thermal overload.
Standard connections are supplied for power and cooling.
In the new Indramat MBT series, the drive and control specialists based in Lohr have drawn on nearly ten years of practical experience in the use of Indramat torque motors in rotary table applications and swivel axes of machining centres.
