LED units cut the cost of strobe

The use of stroboscopes alongside electromagnetic or hydraulic vibration test shakers is nothing new.
The use of stroboscopes alongside electromagnetic or hydraulic vibration test shakers is nothing new The idea of wanting to see the test item in a static or slow motion view whilst vibrating at low to medium frequencies has been a requirement for many years

GPS system monitors pass by noise
M+P International's PBN solution enables audible tones and indicators to help the operator adjust the throttle position for the on and off points, allowing quick tuning and repeatable results.
However the method has always been to use xenon based systems which have certain limitations, typically they can not reach high frequency, the bulbs have short lives and the cost of such systems can run into thousands of pounds.
M+P International can now offer an effective alternative.
LED based strobes are already used in a variety of machine vision applications and now they are available for use with not only M+P's market leading VibControl products but also in association with other vibration control systems which provide a COLA output.
The LED strobes are available with a variety of controller options from simple direct COLA connection to user selectable variables such as offset, manual frequency selection, brightness and on/off period.
They are also available with a variety of LED array configurations, connected via cable for easy handling.
Spotlights are probably the most obvious choice but ring light arrays are also very effective for small components as users can view through the light source.
The LED arrays are available in a variety of colours, white is available and very effective, however look beyond the obvious and there are other equally effective solutions that are easier to focus on.
Red LEDs work extremely well, and the perceived softness of the light makes long term use considerably easier.
If that wasn't enough the price is sure to make LED strobes the preferred choice: starting from just GBP 895 they are very cost effective.
