New from Marco Weighing Systems is the DutyMaster range of high-specification multiple-load-cell solid-state weighing platforms.

New from Marco Weighing Systems is the DutyMaster range of high-specification multiple-load-cell solid-state weighing platforms.

The standard range encompasses over 100 different sizes, designs and capacities, ranging from 150kg up to 20t, with platform sizes from 600mm square to over 4m square.

The DutyMaster range is available in stainless steel, mild steel or a custom material and has been particularly successful within the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industry sectors.

Marco claims that attention to detail, combined with the use of high specification materials and latest generation components, makes this range the most robust and reliable weighing solution currently available.

For even greater flexibility the weighing platforms can be tailored to suit specific applications by utilising the company's ProRange design and manufacturing service.

In this situation, the DutyMaster is manufactured following a site visit to assess customers' specific requirements with any design modifications incorporated within the final CAD drawings released for the customer's ultimate approval.

This approach ensures that the scale chosen is ideally suited to the end application.

Typically DutyMaster platforms form part of a wider factory optimisation system based around Marco's award winning Trac-IT MES (manufacturing execution system) software suite.

This ensures optimum use of real time factory floor data, guaranteeing a high%age overall equipment efficiency (OEE).

For optimum flexibility and to avoid problems arising from troublesome cables, the DutyMaster can be interfaced via secure onboard RF wireless (802.11) communications to client's LAN.
