Available from Matsushita Electric Works is the slim-line LD power relay.

This compact device is a mere 7mm wide and provides the cost-effective solution for a broad spectrum of small load, domestic switching applications.

Designed to meet the requirements of end users' demands for modern relay technology, Matsushita's LD relay benefits from a number of other special features.

Important amongst these is its minimum nominal operating power consumption of only 200mW and impressive shock resistance characteristics of around 30 G.

In addition the relay has an exceptional expected electrical life, performing 2 x 105 switching operations on a 3A 125VAC resistive load.

Moreover, it has an excellent surge withstand performance of 10kV.

This relay's overall dimensions are a space-saving 20.3 (L) x 7.0(W) x 15.0 (H) mm and it is available with a 1 Form A contact arrangement and in a variety of coil voltages.

In line with the requirements of IEC65, the LD relay has been designed with a minimum creepage and clearance distance between contact and coil of 6mm.

These impressive specifications makes this cost effective relay ideal for use in domestic appliances such as refrigeration systems, fan heaters, air conditioning, hot water units and microwave ovens.
