The Cimrex 67 and 69 combine the benefits of a fully graphic display with the user friendliness of a touch screen to provide a comprehensive view into real-time control and monitoring.

The Cimrex 67 and 69 from Matsushita Electric Works UK combine the benefits of a fully graphic display with the user friendliness of a touch screen to provide a comprehensive view into real-time control and monitoring of automation tasks.

The terminals have a 5.7in graphic touch screen - the Cimrex 67 with a 16 grey scales STN display and the Cimrex 69 with a 256 colours STN display - both with a backlight.

The resolution of 320 x 240 pixels means pictures are displayed with great clarity and the touch screen makes it easy to develop intuitive applications, minimising the need for operator training.

To increase the flexibility even further, the terminal can be used in either landscape or portrait position.

The Cimrex terminals include network connectivity for remote diagnostics and control.

The network is based on Ethernet and supports serial, twisted pair or coaxial connection.

The terminals on the network can display information from one or two controller systems that are connected to them.

It is also possible to use two different drivers in the terminal, which allows communication with two different makes of controller systems simultaneously.

The controllers can be connected via two serial ports or through Ethernet using expansion cards.

Cimrex Prog software is available for programming the Cimrex operator terminals in Windows.

Operator dialogs can be quickly created in a totally graphic environment where you can always see how the final result will appear.

The software allows you to file projects, copy blocks, texts and graphics between different projects and reuse earlier solutions in the Cimrex Prog.

This tool comes complete with a comprehensive symbol directory of statistics and dynamic graphs, standard Windows user interfaces and built-in help texts.
