Matrikon will present two papers at the Computers Applications in the Minerals Industries Conference (CAMI), at the Banff Park Lodge, in Banff, Alberta, from 31st October to 3rd November 2005.

Mike Brown will present "Maximising production through downtime and production reporting solutions" on Monday 31st October, in Session 5 - "Mine equipment selection and utilisation", in the Assiniboine Room from 1400 to 1530 local time.

Mike Brown is Vice President of Technology for Matrikon, and frequently demonstrates his ability to understand the challenges faced by our clients and develops specifically tailored technical solutions to address those challenges.

To effectively address security, one needs to consider people, processes and technology.

A paper entitled "Cyber security in mining" helps to identify vulnerabilities, applying best-practices, sharing experiences and solutions for cyber security.

Rick Kaun's presentation will appear during Session 6 from 1600 to 1730 on Monday 31st October.

Kaun is a Senior Network Security Specialist for Matrikon and leads a team of experts specialising in computer network infrastructure and risk management with an emphasis on security.
