MatrikonOPC has released the latest version of its OPC Server Framework.
Used in all of its OPC Servers, the latest version of the MatrikonOPC Server Framework includes advanced calculation and security options.
'OPC is a great standard for sharing device data with multiple applications, but copying common calculations across many software applications can take up a lot of time,' said Sean Leonard, vice-president of OPC at Matrikon.
'It can also result in two different versions because of differences in calculation between software packages.
'With this release, our OPC Servers provide the necessary power to do calculations at the server level instead of the application level,' he added.
