Automated Precision is to bundle Metrix Build!IT software as a real-time interfaces for the API Laser Tracker II coordinate measuring machine
Automated Precision and Maya Metrix have entered into a strategic alliance to deliver an integrated solution for using CAD part and assembly models for measurement, rapid-inspection and real-time tool building applications.
Automated Precision (API) will bundle Metrix Build!IT software with the API Laser Tracker II coordinate measuring machine (CMM).
Maya Metrix Build!IT software provides a real-time interface for the Laser Tracker II System.
API will market and support the Metrix Build!IT product worldwide through its existing sales channels and distributors.
API's Laser Tracker II System represents the latest in laser tracker technology.
API is the original inventor and developer of laser tracking systems and technology.
The Tracker II is a precise, compact and portable CMM tool designed for industrial metrology use.
The Laser Tracker II system provides highly accurate dynamic and static linear displacement and angular measurements.
It is a stable and reliable new metrology tool for dimensioning, alignment, assembly, fabrication and reverse engineering applications.

Metrix Build!IT enables 3D CAD part models to be effectively used on the manufacturing floor for measuring and inspecting parts and tooling as well as building assembly tooling in real-time using portable CMM equipment.
Metrix Build!IT is used by designers, tool builders and inspectors at leading aerospace, automotive and manufacturers worldwide.
By using Metrix Build!IT in place of 2D prints, digital designs are seamlessly linked to manufacturing.
