Simple slides available for framework
system

A slide guide strip for the Item range of products enables the construction of simple and very low cost slide mechanisms suitable for access apertures within guards, enclosures and general framework

The introduction of a slide guide strip into the Item range of products available from Machine Building Systems Ltd enables the construction of simple and very low cost slide mechanisms suitable for access apertures within guards, enclosures and general framework The strip also acts as a sealing element, providing some degree of protection against dust ingress and maintaining climate or air movement control

Three slide guide strips, which are fixed into the longitudinal mounting grooves, are available for use with the Item line-8, Line-6 and Line-5 profile ranges.

Two mounting options are available to suit either a front mounted sliding guard or an internally guided sliding element such as a drawer.

The slide guide strip is manufactured from low friction black polyethelene compound which can be supplied in two metre lengths.

Where required, it can be supplied complete with either the M4 x 16 fixing screws or Item T-slot nuts.

The slide guide strip is then provided with either pre-tapped or through bore holes respectively, located on standard 40mm centres.

The slide guide strip is manufactured with an offset which ensures a working clearance between frames to prevent interference fit or collision between the fixed and sliding frame elements. Request a free brochure from Machine Building Systems ...
