An even greater choice of plain faced or closed groove aluminium profile sections are now available in the Item range of machine building products which give enhanced features.

Where structures are on public view, appearance and ease of cleaning can be of paramount importance, and these new profiles provide the aesthetic qualities required.

Several new profile sections for the line 5 range can be supplied, these being 20 x 20mm and 40 x 20mm in size.

The smaller profile can be supplied with one plain side, or two plain sides located on opposite or two adjacent sides of the profile.

The larger profile is manufactured in four plain sided options.

These include one side only (40mm dimension), or with two opposite sides on either 20mm or 40mm dimensions, and one version incorporating two adjacent plain sides (ie 20 and 40mm).

The profile sections still retain the longitudinal mounting grooves on all the 'non plain' sides.

This ensures that they can be utilised for the construction of guards, partitions, pedestrian barriers and many forms of structural assemblies.

The closed groove feature removes the potential for dust retention or collection of deposits from air-borne contamination which can be prevalent within industrial environments.

The plain faced profile surfaces can be easily wiped clean, to ensure that the visual presentation can be maintained at optimum condition at all times.

The profiles can be supplied in lengths up to three metres, or cut to size, and are available in a natural aluminium anodised finish.
