A full head of steam at TEAM

Visitors to the TEAM Exhibition at the UK NEC from 28th to 30th September can find Machine Building Systems on Stand 3820 - complete with a working steam engine.

Visitors to the TEAM Exhibition at the UK NEC from 28th to 30th September can find Machine Building Systems on Stand 3820 The company will be presenting the latest set of new products from Item, including a neat and very safe solution for rising guards, new stainless steel fasteners for assembling the Item profile system in aggressive environments, and a variety of new locks, hinges, workplace display equipment and other basic system components

Also on display for the very first time will be the Elcom range of motorised flat belt conveyors, in widths from 20 to 400mm.

These slim conveyors are based on Item profile, and are highly suitable either for incorporating into machines, or as stand-alone production equipment.

For maximum flexibility, two motor mounting options are offered: either under the conveyor at any desired point along its length, or mounted directly on one of the end rollers.

This last option is not only economical, but permits the use of flighted belts where desired.

Finally, it is well worth taking a peek at the company's main display which neatly marries early 20th century with state-of-the-art early 21st century technology.

It consists of a Large Line 12 frame complete with a belt-driven linear slide, on which is carried a working steam engine. Request a free brochure from Machine Building Systems ...
