New to the Item Line-8 extrusion system are a range of coloured plastic cover profiles to fill unwanted 8mm grooves.

The colours are blue, yellow, green, red and grey in addition to the existing black and natural plastic cover profiles.

Users can exploit these colours either decoratively on the external faces of their machine to complement panel colours, or they may use them functionally, for example to cover wires running in the groove in say red, perhaps air pipes in blue, with possibly safety circuits or the surrounding of guarding in yellow etc.

Unlike the other colours, the grey cover profile is designed to have the opposite effect: its main purpose is not to catch the eye, but conversely to infill the groove as unobtrusively and economically as possible.

All the coloured plastic cover profiles are stocked in quantity in Machine Building System's factory in Ripley, Derbyshire.
