Item has introduced a new e-catalogue for its aluminium framework system, the Item MB building kit system.
Item has introduced a new e-catalogue for its aluminium framework system, the Item MB building kit system.
Directly linked to Item's database, this is more than just another online brochure.
Each of the huge number of components has its own individual page, with access to additional information at the click of a button.
This includes: technical specifications and images; a load calculator that calculates deflections for given loads and profile lengths; CAD data - various formats are available, in 2D or 3D, with the user selecting from a list of possibilities, including DWG, DXF, IGES, SAT and Step; suggested additional components to help the user to remember to order other products likely to be needed; assembly instructions for more complex components - downloadable for storing locally; and a shopping basket - the user can build up a shopping list in the now familiar online way, and send off an enquiry for quotation.
Also featured is a powerful search facility, enabling users to find products from either full or partial part numbers or descriptions.
