Ball-bearing hinge permits high radial loads

Item has introduced a heavy-duty ball-bearing hinge for the Line-8 aluminium profile machine construction kit.
This hinge allows heavy dynamic loads to be applied and can swing through up to 180deg on a continuous basis.
Each hinge incorporates two ball bearings, which permits radial loads of up to 2,500N and moment loads of 45Nm on the hinge.
The existing plain-bearing hinge will continue to be available for less heavily loaded dynamic applications, or as a means of attaching bracing struts, where the angle of the hinge is usually fixed.
