A new range of digitally controlled liquid metering and dispensing pumps delivers fluids positively and precisely, regardless of pressure variation, flow or viscosity.

A new range of digitally controlled liquid metering and dispensing pumps delivers fluids positively and precisely, regardless of pressure variation, flow or viscosity.

The Travcyl pump range from Michael Smith Engineers, which is ideally suited for low flow OEM, laboratory and pharmaceutical applications, provides flow rates from as little as 0-2.6ml/min up to 0-1280ml/min, with accuracy to +/-0.05%.

Travcyl pumps combine accuracy and reliability with features such as, high volumetric efficiency, near pulseless flow, timed dispensing and clean-in-place/steam-in-place (CIP/SIP) capabilities and low shear.

The pumps operate without the need for calibration and because the design eliminates the need for valves, the potential for clogging and any resulting flow measurement errors, are eliminated.

The pumps are offered with a choice of control options including analogue or digital input/output signals, manual or automatic program modes, so they are easily adapted to suit specific fluid control applications.

The pumps can also be specified with inert wetted parts as an option.

Other features and benefits include, near zero-dead volume, zero leakage, symmetric delivery (in both directions) along with a reversible flow and "suck-back" feature.
