A MTT Technologies Group product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 31, 2003

In answer to strong demand for places at last week's event, vacuum casting specialist MCP Tooling Technologies is to hold a second vacuum casting seminar on Thursday 20th November 2003.

The strong demand for places at last week's seminar presented by vacuum casting specialist MCP Tooling Technologies has led to the company offering a second vacuum casting seminar which will be held on Thursday 20th November.

Engineers from the medical, jewellery, white goods, footwear, diamond trading, healthcare, sanitary ware, automotive and packaging industries were represented at the first hugely successful event in a series of seminars organised by MCP Tooling Technologies.

The event explained the process and benefits of vacuum casting and its place in the rapid production process.

Presentations included introductions and demonstrations of MCP's new nylon casting process which allows the casting of complex components in Nylon 6; and MCP's selective laser melting process, developed for the production of parts in cobalt chrome and stainless steel direct from CAD.

This second vacuum casting event (on 20th November) will follow the company's seminar on the theory and practice of manufacturing with benchtop injection moulders, to be held on Wednesday 19th November.

MCP Tooling Technologies has created this seminar specifically for designers and manufacturers of small precision-engineered parts from 0.02 to 12g.

Both events are free of charge and include lunch and refreshments on the day.

Delegates are welcome to attend both events.
