Spectra-Physics' Excelsior laser platform includes low-power CW lasers at 375, 405, 440, 473, 488, 505, 532, 561, 594, 635, 785 and 1064nm.
The EM drives consist of either a DC servo or 2-phase stepper motor with a precision 2000 pts optical encoder mounted on the rotating shaft.
The encoder also includes an index pulse for precision homing.
On the side of the drive is a sub-D 9 pin connector which enables the convenient control of end-of-run signals through the same main 25 pin connector.
A 3 m long cable for direct interfacing with Newport's electronics is included as well. Request a free brochure from Newport Spectra-Physics ...
