More stable and stiff multi-axis
positioning
A set of brackets have been designed to mount linear stages for stable and stiff muti-axis positioning systems, increasing the lifetime of a system and improving performance
Newport's new set of brackets, models EQ120 and EQ80, are ideal to mount its M-ILS/M-IMS Series of linear stages for stable and stiff multi-axis positioning systems The advanced precision technologies used offer many benefits

Newport extends laser scribing systems range
Newport Corporation has brought out the Solaryx 1600P laser scribing system, the latest addition to the Solaryx range of thin film photovoltaic laser scribing systems.
First, the well balanced design of the EQ brackets together with the high load capacity bearings used on the stages will considerably limit the stress generated by off centered loads on a motion axis; the lifetime of a system will thus be increased.
Second, the brackets and stages have been engineered with the greatest care to ensure the best quality and performances.
This results in 3D motion systems of high stiffness-to-weight ratio that provides higher system resonant frequency for faster motion and shorter settling times.
Finally, the rigid, lightweight structure of our motion system also minimises load induced positioning errors to give superior positioning accuracy.
Key features * Black anodized aluminum brackets for vertical mounting of M-ILS, M-IMS, and RV series stages * Compatible with metric and imperial products * Extra light and stiff design * One version fits all travels (EQ180 only for M-IMS300 and M-IMS400) * Vertical arm adjustable for perfect orthogonal alignment.
