Spectra-Physics' Excelsior laser platform includes low-power CW lasers at 375, 405, 440, 473, 488, 505, 532, 561, 594, 635, 785 and 1064nm.

Newport Spectra-Physics has released the Excelsior-594 laser.

This latest addition to the company's Excelsior laser family is a multilongitudinal mode laser with 30mW of output power at 594nm.

It is suitable for flow cytometry and emerging microscope and DNA sequencing applications that rely on exciting fluorescent dyes like Texas Red by using 594nm as the laser excitation source.

Spectra-Physics' Excelsior laser platform includes low-power CW lasers at 375, 405, 440, 473, 488, 505, 532, 561, 594, 635, 785 and 1064nm.

They are excellent tools for a variety of OEM applications because they provide superior optical beam quality, exceptionally low optical noise and high reliability.

Offering the smallest footprint in their class, the Excelsior lasers are stand-alone devices that are easy to use and operate.

An integrated active light loop guarantees that every Excelsior laser delivers outstanding output power stability over a wide temperature range.
