Newport Spectra-Physics has introduced an expanded portfolio of ultra-fast laser products, including two high-performance, ultra-fast amplifiers, the 4W Spitfire Pro XP and the 3.5W Solstice.
The 4W Spitfire Pro XP ultra-fast regenerative amplifier outputs <35fs pulses at 4W average power, at 1, 5 or 10kHz.
The 3.5W Solstice one-box ultra-fast amplifier generates 3.5W average power at 1, 5 or 10 kHz.
With high beam quality and superior pulse intensity, these ultra-fast amplifiers are suitable for advanced scientific applications, such as time-resolved spectroscopy, terahertz generation, coherence control and high-harmonic generation.
Newport Spectra-Physics is also announcing two other lasers for scientific applications: the Scan Series OPO, a compact, nanosecond-pulsed, optical-parametric oscillator with a high pulse energy tuning for spectroscopy applications, and the Allegro high repetition rate, one-box dye laser for laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) imaging applications in turbulent flow and combustion research.
