Metris has released a free viewer that enables users to view Focus Inspection reports.

Metris' Focus Inspection 8.0 Viewer incorporates all the reporting functionalities offered by the full package.

The Inspection Viewer allows everyone involved in the inspection process to interpret the results on their own PC in full 3D.

"Sharing 3D results is most valuable for colleagues, suppliers, distributors and customers from shop floor to management level", says Metris' VP Marketing Olivier Georis.

"With our free viewing software, there are no restrictions on the number of users to share the results".

"This greatly improves communication and decision-making and finally leads to better quality and faster time to market".

The users can visualise 3D results by rotating and zooming on global deviation maps, cross-sections and feature comparisons.

The easy-to-use, but yet powerful Viewer allows changing and/or adding of: tolerance schemes; flyouts; dimensions; gap-step dimensions; colour bar; and text annotations.

The user can conclude by creating customisable Excel based reports.

The free viewer can be downloaded from the Metris website.
