Metallurgical High Vacuum has released a kit that resolves seal issues on Roots 6in blowers by replacing the original lip-type seals with precision mechanical shaft seals.
The robust mechanical seals are designed to last longer and withstand rugged operating conditions.
In addition, the company said, they simplify future maintenance as the mechanical seals can be replaced without draining oil or removing housing end plate.
The large sight-glass gives visibility to oil levels and eliminates a dipstick on Roots blowers.
