Micro Concepts has been confirmed as the top Autodesk manufacturing software reseller by turnover for 2004-05.
After the most successful 12 months in its 16-year history providing specialist engineering solutions, Micro Concepts has been confirmed as the top Autodesk manufacturing software reseller by turnover for 2004-05.
In the past three years, following the move for Autodesk resellers to concentrate on specific market sectors, Micro Concepts has focused on providing engineering design solutions for manufacturing companies.
"This is a terrific achievement for the Micro Concepts team", says Managing Director, Peter Hurst: "and is the successful culmination of our single-minded approach to building a strong business in this important sector for Autodesk".
For Hurst, the decision to focus on the application of a single product set within a single sector has brought significant benefits for everyone concerned.
"All our staff have strong engineering backgrounds", he confirms, "and, as a result, our customers benefit from both our deep technical knowledge of the Autodesk solution and an unrivalled understanding of their problems and needs".
"At the same time, we play an important part in the on-going development of Inventor functionality, for example, by keeping Autodesk close to the end-user community through regular, detailed feedback of the issues faced by manufacturing industry".
For Micro Concepts, the result has been an increasingly strong vendor partnership and long-standing and loyal customer base.
Since specialising in manufacturing, the company has enjoyed particular success in introducing a large number of pilot schemes, many of which have since grown into full-scale implementations.
"This success has been based simply on keeping our promises", confirms Hurst.
"In introducing 3D solutions, we always set realistic end-user expectations in terms of achievable benefits and return on investment and then tightly manage the project to ensure these are delivered".
