Some 150 end users attended the latest series of Micro Concepts' Inventor 10 technical seminars, held at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, and Autodesk head office in Farnborough.

Reinforcing its reputation as a leading Autodesk Reseller, some 150 end users attended the latest series of Micro Concepts' Inventor 10 technical seminars, held at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford and Autodesk head office in Farnborough.

This follows the recent announcement that specialist engineering solutions reseller Micro Concepts is the top Autodesk manufacturing software reseller for 2004-05.

The series of one-day conferences forms part of Micro Concepts' Subscription Support and Update (SSU) Seminar programme and is designed to make customers aware of the new functionality and benefits of the latest version of Inventor, examining new modelling features together with draughting and data management enhancements.

The SSU programme, believed to be unique among Autodesk resellers, also includes a high level of technical telephone support and ongoing development seminars tackling issues of current interest in using Inventor.

Further, SSU subscribers have access to Micro Concepts' Inventor toolkit, which provides additional functionality.

TWI, a world leader in research and development for welding and joining technologies, has been a Micro Concepts client for ten years and is an active member of the SSU programme.

"As part of Micro Concepts' highly responsive support service, the seminars provide us valuable regular technical updates on Inventor", confirms Laboratory Manager, Eddie Watts.

"At the same time, they provide an excellent forum in which we can discuss matters of common importance with other users".

"We were delighted with this record attendance", says Micro Concepts' Managing Director, Peter Hurst, "which reflects both the strength of Autodesk's manufacturing software and the desire of our customers to take advantage of our technical and commercial expertise in achieving maximum return from their Autodesk investment".
