Micro Concepts is to provide Forbes Group with its Autodesk Inventor Series and Inventor Professional 3D design software.
Micro Concepts is to provide Forbes Group with its Autodesk Inventor Series and Inventor Professional 3D design software.
Forbes designs and builds plastic tanks and fabrications and has expertise in environmental technologies.
Forbes IT Manager, Roberto Ramasso, said: "Its ability to integrate with our Autocad-based designs means that we can retain and use our existing 2D capability and, in effect, gives us the best of both 2D and 3D worlds".
Forbes and Micro Concepts plan a phased introduction of the Autodesk software, which will include integration with the company's manufacturing resource system and automating the production of bills of materials, for example, to support the manufacturing and purchasing teams.
