MediaGold is to offer a free version of TurboCAD to individual students and all educational institutions in the UK with a focus on design.
MediaGold is to offer a free version of TurboCAD to individual students and all educational institutions in the UK with a focus on design.
TurboCAD v7, versatile, feature-rich and easy to master, is a powerful tool for all design needs offering a complete solution for anyone needing to create, edit or view 2D or 3D drawings.
The software, developed by IMSI, a leading developer of visual content, design, and graphics software, is available now for unlimited licences with a GBP 25 administration charge to cover order processing and shipping.
The initiative has been developed as MediaGold plans to launch a more current version (v10) of TurboCAD and in a bid to provide all design students with access to leading software in order that they are able to get more out of design packages as they join the UK work force.
John Goodson, Marketing Director at MediaGold, comments: " We are introducing the initiative in order to provide students with access to powerful software at an early stage.
Much of the investment in software at a business level is wasted due to the fact that many simply don't know how to make the most of the software.
This way, we can at least be sure that as graduates join the work force they are fully equipped with the skills to get the most out of modern software packages".
As well as providing educational institutions with unlimited licences, individuals will be able to obtain copies for use at home so that they may continue to study and work on projects in their own time.
In each case MediaGold will simply ask for some feedback about versions of TurboCAD in order that research and development can produce new versions with the users' requirements in mind.
Individuals will not be subject to the administration charge.
Once registered, both educational establishments and individuals will have access to current upgrades at dramatically reduced prices.
TurboCAD v9 and TurboCAD v9.5 Professional are available at SRP GBP 69.99 and GBP 449.99 respectively.
