Plastic gearbox torques up iron core motor

The new 16mm diameter series DC-Ironcore motor complements the Micro-Drives product line of precious metal and graphite commutated iron core motors with outer diameters ranging from 12 to 48mm.

The new 16mm diameter series DC-Ironcore motor complements the Micro-Drives product line of precious metal and graphite commutated iron core motors with outer diameters ranging from 12 to 48mm.

The MD1622 series motor is capable of delivering up to 0.99mNm of continuous torque.

In combination with planetary gearhead series MD15P this gearmotor is capable of continuous torque up to 0.4Nm.

The precision gearhead series MD15P are of planetary design and very light weight due to the plastic gear design concept.

Reduction ratios range from 19:1 up to 23,014:1 to meet any speed reduction or torque-boosting requirement.

The motors are available in a wide variety of voltage types and are ideal to fit most any application.

Motors are also available with leads and connectors on request.
