Tight speed regulation for novel servo design
The Model M815-BR servo drive is a novel unique velocity loop encoder feedback device.
Mounting is accomplished with four "face mount" 6-32 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 39mm-diameter bolt circle.
The integral analogue tachometer is commonly used to provide a positive, linear feedback signal for "closed loop" servo applications at a rate of 3V DC per 1000rev/min.
The motor is rated for 212mNm of continuous torque, and 1271mNm peak.
Despite it's compact size and weight, the motor is capable of delivering 80W continuous output power at 5000rev/min, and is an efficient design, requiring just 3.4A at 24V DC to generate full power.
Typical options available with this servomotor include integral optical encoders, failsafe brakes and planetary gearheads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1, with optional low backlash precision gearing available.
A NEMA 23 flange mount also available.
Compatible servo amplifiers are also available from stock.
