A new solid-state PWM unidirectional motor speed controller from Midwest Motion Products Company is ideal for battery powered applications.

A new solid-state PWM unidirectional motor speed controller from Midwest Motion Products Company is ideal for battery powered applications Able to deliver up to 25A of current at 24V DC, the compact MMP25A-24V controller measures only 25 x 50 x 100mm and delivers up to 600W of output power

The new design has a wider operating voltage range, and filters out AC ripple via an internal 3300uF electrolytic capacitor.

The unit is fully encapsulated (potted) enabling it to meet the IP65 standard rating for resistance to the elements and harsh environments.

The outer casing is brushed aluminium, and two 6.35mm diameter through-holes are provided for easy mounting to any flat surface.

A set of seven quick-connect terminals are provided for connecting to power, motor leads, and a potentiometer, one of which is provided with each unit.

The MMP25A-24V has been designed for successful operation in numerous applications that include robotics, portable instruments, power generating equipment, air moving devices, agricultural, automated guided vehicles, ventilators, compressors, pumps, conveyors, RV/trailer range hoods, food processing, automotive and transportation industry, chemical feeder, gear motors, wire feeders, photo processing, paper processing, and hose and cable take-up reels.
