New from Midwest Motion Products is the the Model MMP-C21.125D-12V.GP52-014.1 DC gearmotor.

Accepting any 12V DC source, including battery power, this robust gearmotor measures just 54.4mm in diameter by 184.2mm long, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long.

Easy mounting is accomplished with four "face mount" M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm diameter BC.

The output of the gearmotor is rated for 1.5Nm continuous torque, at 192rev/min, and 12Nm peak.

Despite its compact size and weight, the motor is an efficient design, requiring just 3.8A at 12V DC to generate its full load output torque.

Optional 24V windings, and greater, are also available.

Typical options available with this servomotor include integral optical encoders, failsafe brakes, analogue tachometers, and planetary gearheads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1, with standard or low backlash precision gearing available.
