The Model MMP TM55-12V GPK52-016.1 is the latest new DC gear motor from Midwest Motion Products of Watertown, Minnesota.

Accepting any 12V DC source, including battery power, this robust gear motor measures just 54mm in diameter by 185mm long, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long.

Easy mounting is accomplished with four "face mount" M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm diameter BC.

The output of the gear motor is rated for 1.6Nm continuous torque, at 160rev/min, and 9Nm peak.

Despite its compact size and weight, the motor is an efficient design, requiring just 7.50A at 12V DC to generate its full load output torque.

Optional 24V windings, and greater, are also available.

Typical options available with this servomotor include integral optical encoders, failsafe brakes, analogue tachometers, and planetary gear heads, with standard ratios ranging from 3:1 to 450:1, with standard or low backlash precision gearing available.
