Midwest Motion Products has released a new DC gear motor, the Model MMP-TM55-12V GP52-022.

Midwest Motion Products has released a new DC gear motor, the Model MMP-TM55-12V GP52-022.

Accepting any 12V DC source, including battery power, this robust gear motor measures just 54.4mm in diameter, by 184.2mm long, and has a keyed output shaft of 12mm diameter by 25mm long.

Easy mounting is accomplished with four "face mount" M5 threaded holes, equally spaced on a 40mm diameter BC.

The output of the gearmotor is rated for 2.5Nm continuous torque, at 209rev/min, and 9.0Nm peak.

Despite its compact size and weight, the motor is an efficient design, requiring just 7.2A at 12V DC to generate its full load output torque.

Optional 24 and 36V windings are available.

This unique design is rated at IP54 protection level for operation in harsh environments.

Samples are available from stock for rapid prototyping needs.
