Midwest Motion Products releases the MMP20A-12V -RSP motor speed control module.

Midwest Motion Products has released the MMP20A-12V -RSP motor speed control module This modular design, solid state PWM switching device provides bidirectional, open loop, DC motor speed control, and is for all battery-powered applications that require adjustable speed of a DC motor or gear motor

Able to deliver 20A continuous current at 12V DC, this 11.4 by 7.9 by 2.5cm control delivers the current required to power most brushed DC motors by delivering 240W continuous output power.

It can deliver up to 40A of peak (momentary) current, for a peak output power capacity of 480W.

The design is fully encapsulated (potted) letting it meet IP65 for resistance to the elements and harsh environments.

The outer casing is brushed aluminum, and two 6.35mm diameter through holes are provided for mounting to any flat (heatsinking) surface.

Four quick-connect terminals are provided for connecting to power.

The reversing switch and speed adjust potentiometer are built-in and pre-wired.

Applications include agricultural, sign motion, military and law enforcement training targets, power winches, robotics, portable instruments, air moving devices, automated guided vehicles, ventilators, compressors, pumps, conveyors, range hoods, food processing, automotive and transportation, chemical feeders, pumps, gear motors, wire feeders, photo processing, paper processing, hose and cable take-up reels, and vibratory feeders.
