A compact 12V power supply runs from a universal AC input and supplies up to 25A continuously at 82% minimum efficiency.

Midwest Motion Products has released a new DC power supply, the Model MMP PS-320W-12V that features a universal AC input ranging from 8 to 264V AC.

It is a compact, lightweight design, measuring just 7 x 4.5 x 2in.

Rigid mounting is accomplished with five M3 threaded holes in the bottom of the chassis.

The output of the power supply is rated for 12V nominal, and is adjustable from 9.5 to 14V DC.

Samples are available from stock for rapid prototyping needs.

At 12V DC nominal, this power supply will deliver 25A on a continuous basis.

The output ripple is limited to 150mV peak-peak, with an 82% minimum efficiency, yet the cost is less than $100 at 100 units.

There are three sets of positive and negative terminals available on a common terminal block for supplying multiple devices.

The MMP PS-320W-12V may also be used to drive the MMP 25A-12V motor speed control, also offered by Midwest Motion.
