A Midwest Motion Products product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 19, 2009

Midwest Motion Products has announced the launch of the Model MMP TM55-36V GP57-308 DC gearmotor.

The design features a high output torque to size and weight ratio, low speed and low noise in a compact and lightweight gearmotor.

Typical uses for this high torque 36V DC gearmotor include UGVs, UUVs, mobility and accessibility equipment, and battery powered electric utility vehicles of all kinds.

This unit is able to develop its full continuous output torque of 398in/lb (50Nm peak) while consuming 2.1A of current, and delivering 13rev/min of continuous output speed.

That translates to a long-life battery charge, quiet operation, and lower cost drive electronics.
