Servomotor features integral tachometer

A Midwest Motion Products product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Aug 11, 2009

Midwest Motion Products has announced the model MMP D22-376F-24V T-07 DC servomotor with integral tachometer.

This design features a 24V DC motor with a high torque-to-size ratio, with an integral tachometer of 7V/Krpm and a low-ripple content.

Typical uses for this high-precision motor-tach would include linear actuators, industrial automation equipment, coordinate measuring machines, material handling equipment and closed-loop servo applications.

When driven by the company's PWM servo amplifier, the user has the ability to 'close the velocity loop' and maintain a set speed, despite common torque disturbances in the equipment.
