Mecmesin designs and manufactures force and torque testing instruments and systems which are used for quality control testing - both by manufacturers and specifiers of a wide range of materials, components and products.
Typical test specimens would include: springs and spring assemblies, textiles, packaging, automotive components, rubber, plastics, medical devices, control levers/pedals, electrical switches/connectors, fasteners, sports equipment and adhesive bonds.
Mecmesin products range from budget-priced force gauges and test stands to fully computer-controlled materials testing system.
Indeed, their budget- priced 200newton capacity Portable Force Indicator has proved to be such a popular instrument, that the product range has recently been extended to include gauges with loadcell capacities of 50, 200, 500 and 1000newtons.
A typical tension/compression test system would comprise a manual or motorised test stand, a force gauge and gripping fixtures specially-designed for the sample being tested.
